It’s super rare that the art style of a game on the App Store makes me sit up and go "holy moly, look at the art style of that App Store game."

But that’s exactly (sort of) what happened when I first saw Little Briar Rose.

It’s a stunning looking creation that looks like it was lifted directly from a stained glass window. And then somehow put in motion. Probably using magic.

The game is a retelling of the Sleeping Beauty story and casts you as a prince who’s working his way through a thorny forest in order to try and rescue the famous snoozing heroine.

Little Briar Rose is out right now on iOS and Android, where it’ll set you back £2.29 / $2.99. And to be honest I think it might be worth that for how good it looks alone. Seriously I’m drooling.
