Chase skirts and shirk work, Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards: Reloaded coming soon

The 1987 cult classic Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards is being given a new lease on life this month.

After collecting over a half million dollars on Kickstarter, the reboot of the lighthearted lecher was fast-tracked for a revival on iOS, Android, Mac, PC, and Linux.

Polygon reports that while the PC and Mac versions will roll out this month on May 31, there's still no clear date for when the iOS and Android versions of Larry can be expected.

Thankfully, we do know how much it will cost when it arrives - $9.99 / £6.99 - or, about the running price of a cocktail at your average bar.

Is that a mirror in your pocket?

At the helm of the Leisure Suit Larry reboot is series creator Al Lowe, whose last involvement with the series came in 1996 with Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail!.

Following Lowe's departure, Larry appeared in a pair of unpopular titles - Leisure Suit Larry: Magna Cum Laude in 2004 and Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust in 2009. After Box Office Bust secured a grim rating of 20 on Metacritic, it seemed like Leisure Suit Larry’s leisure days were behind him.

Now, thanks to Lowe's Kickstarter, fans of mid-90s adventure gaming will have a chance to relive their days in Larry Laffer's patent leather loafers.

If you're new to the franchise and have no idea what to expect from Leisure Suit Larry, much of Land of the Longue Lizards takes place in a casino called 'Caeser's Phallus'.

Don't say we didn't warn you.
