May the fourth be with you - Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga offers deep discounts on DLC chapters
It's your only hope
Once upon a time, Star Wars Day (May the fourth) was an unofficial holiday quietly celebrated by geeks and scruffy nerf herders around the world.
Now, it's kind of a big deal - and almost anyone with a Star Wars license is using it as an excuse to have a sale of some kind.
Case in point, the Silver Award-winning Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga which has put its DLC in-app purchases on a major discount for the holiday weekend.
The game itself is a free download - as it's been since day one on the App Store - but now the Prequel Trilogy Bundle only costs $1.99 / £1.49 for the sale, down from $3.99 / £2.49.
Those who prefer the original movies (which had better be everyone reading this) can pick up the Original Trilogy Bundle for $2.99 / £1.99 - down from $4.99 / £2.99.
And if you're a huge Star Wars fan, you can buy the Comlpete Saga Game Pack - which includes both bundles mentioned above - for $4.99 / £2.99.
So, that's the full game and all of it offers for about five bucks.
Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga is pretty much like every other Lego game out there.
You smash things to collect studs, juggle an ever-expanding army of characters, and laugh at the grunts, smirks, and wildly cute gestures of the Lego cast as they fumble through the story of the movies.
In our review of Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga, we called it "some of the best family-friendly gaming seen in the past decade" before we hung a silver medal around its non-existent neck.
