May the Fourth will be with you in all-new Lego Star Wars The Yoda Chronicles

Neatly tying into the date - 'May the Fourth be with you' - a new Lego Star Wars game is inbound.

Called Lego Star Wars The Yoda Chronicles, it gives you the decision to choose either the Light Side or the Dark Side.

So stepping into either Yoda or Count Dooku's shoes in a fight for Jedi supremacy, you get to make your way through laser blaster battles in the Holocron Vault, dungeon crawling in the Rancor Pit, and lightsaber duels in the Jedi Temple.

Of course, as you go, you'll be collecting studs, which enable you to build troops, ground units such as tanks and walkers and starships.

More to come

As well as these seven levels, there are also three mini-games that offer quick play destruction that will increase your units' rank and power in the main campaign.

Neatly, if you sign into the game with your Lego ID, your progress will be synced whether you play on iOS or web.

And before any 'droids (the ones you seek) get angry, the game is coming to Android too. However, its release isn't expected until the summer.

But the good news for 'droids is that when the Android version is released, the complete campaign of 15 levels - including space combat high above Coruscant - and two more mini-games will be launched.

Lego Star Wars The Yoda Chronicles is free-to-play and will be released on May 4th for iOS and on the Lego website.
