[Update] The side-scrolling kingdom-builder Kingdom: New Lands has been delayed on mobile until later this season
Updated 27th January, 7:56 PM: Little more than a week after the game's announcement, Raw Fury's just told us that Kingdom: New Lands is getting delayed until later this winter.

Though we weren't told exactly why, we do know that it's not development-related.

"It's not development related and it's something we thought hard about after speaking to Thomas (Kingdom's creator), but it'll be worth it for Kingdom. It won't be too much longer, promise."

We'll keep you updated when we know more, but until then enjoy the whimsical gif of a unicorn pooping.

Exciting news today, folks as Kingdom: New Lands is headed for iOS and Android at the end of the month!

Kingdom: New Lands is a stunning side-scrolling kingdom-builder in which you take the seat of a king or queen and have to ride across your land, building your kingdom and gaining subjects. Starting from nothing more than a fancier campsite, your kingdom grows larger the more money you put into it.

It isn't all easy-peasy however as demons emerge from a portal once the moon hits the sky and threatens to destroy everything you've worked hard to achieve. But, if you've been smart, hired the right amount of soldiers, and built up your defences where necessary you'll conquer that lands and move on to the next.

I can't put into words how much I love this game. Having sunk a larger amount of hours than I care to admit into it on Steam, I'm so excited to see it come to mobile. Though a few bugs are still being ironed out, the game runs very nicely on mobile and is pretty much identical to its PC/console counterpart.

Kingdom: New Lands is slated to hit iOS and Android for $9.99 on the 31st January.
