Islands is a new tactile puzzler coming to iOS later this year, revolving around a gorgeous aesthetic and mystery.

Each of Islands' stages present you with an minimalist environment - a parking lot, a waiting room - and through tapping and touching these places, opening doors and pressing icons, you transform them into surreal other forms.

The game is being developed by Carl Burton, who you may know from the episode artwork of the podcast Serial and other works. His dark atmospheric landscape give Islands a haunting aesthetic.

Islands is slated for Steam, iPad, and iPhone. You can vote for the game on Steam Greenlight and find more GIFs on Burton's Twitter page.
