Upcoming metroidvania title Into the Rift is undoubtedly one to watch out for

Having stumbled across Weston on Twitter yesterday, his upcoming metroidvania title Into the Rift is looking very exciting indeed.

Stylistic and a little bit retro in its design, Into the Rift is a platformer packed with parkour, melee combat, and pixel art.

In the mysterious land of Sky Valley, all those born within it are born with wildness. Between two paths - one tempered by knowledge; one tempered by the promise of myth – lies the Rift. You play as a lone traveller, running, jumping, and fighting your way to restore a fractured civilization.

Though Into the Rift is still in early development we cannot wait to see where this game takes us. So far the developer is aiming to get the game out on PC, iOS, and everything Nintendo sometime in the near-future.

We'll certainly be keeping a watchful eye on this title.
