Scare yourself silly and record your reaction with facecam in psychological horror game Indigo Lake
Scream for the camera
Scaring yourself while playing horror games and recording your over-the-top reactions has become something of an internet phenomenon in recent years.
In first-person psychological horror game Indigo Lake, then, guess what you'll be doing? Go on. Yep.
Much like in 3 Cubes Research's previous game The Woods, you'll use the front-facing camera on your device to record your live reactions in Indigo Lake.
Indigo Lake provides a bigger open-world horror experience than The Woods. Given this extra space, the dev figures it's only right to include a 4x4 vehicle in the game. So, expect to be both driving and running for your life from the ghosts.
The game itself is set around an abandoned lake resort where a flurry of suicides has interested paranormal investigators.
As you attempt to discover what happened to your colleague Dr Everett, you'll be haunted by a female ghost who seems to be constantly watching you.
3 Cubes Research hasn't confirmed a release date for Indigo Lake as yet, but we do know it will be available for iOS devices when it finally surfaces.
