Rodeo Games has a triumphant trio of turn-based strategy titles on the App Store.
And the game that started it all for the UK-based developer, Hunters: Episode One, is free for iOS devices for a limited time.
At review, we gave the first episode in this series a Bronze Award, saying that "despite an odd mission structure, Hunters: Episode One succeeds with solid, in-depth turn-based tactical gameplay."
Set in the far future, Hunters: Episode One is all about heavily armoured bounty hunters. You lead a squad of mercenaries into battle, utilising their unique skills and weapons to complete missions and earn as many credits as you can.
Success depends on moving as a team, watching the corners, and making sure your hunters are equipped with the best gear possible.
The mission structure is a little, well, unusual, for Rodeo Games delivers new content every 24 hours. This means that if you've finished everything for the day and hanker for something else, you'll be left out in the cold.
But when the game doesn't cost anything, that's less of a problem.
