Hot Five: The Humble Mobile Bundle is a winner, Prison Architect soft-launches, and Tempest sails onto mobile

How on earth has a week gone by already? One Sunday ago most of us would have been guiltlessly gulping down chocolates like they were multivitamins.

I'm not a chocolate-eating kinda gal myself, so I was probably the minority, but another week has come and gone and here we are.

It's been a quiet week aside from a very busy Thursday so we've had a fair few games drop. What have been your favourite newsbits this week though? Let's find out.

Tempest sails on mobile

Tempest has certainly been around for a while. Having been teased several year ago, and soft launched a month or so ago too, the game finally hit mobile this week to a mixed reception.

Our Reviews Master Harry wasn't too fond on the piratey adventure, whilst Pocket Gamer's App Army had mainly positive views on the game. At £7.99/$7.99 a piece, you've got to be pretty sure you're going to like it to get it in my opinion.

Evergrow: Paper Forest grows out on iOS

Evergrow: Paper Forest is a rather stunning, artsy puzzler which converts your average desk into a wooded-blocked wonderland. You've got to guide a little wooden rabbit across the wooden blocks, which in turn leaves grass in the bunny's wake. The aim is to cover all of the blocks in grass, which is easier said than done is some cases.

Prison Architect breaks (out) the news

A whopping two years since we even heard rumours of Prison Architect's arrival on mobile, the game's suddenly soft-launched in the Netherlands - you lucky folks. The performance of the game thus far is looking a little dodgy, but that's what the testing period is for, eh?

This week's Humble Mobile Bundle was rad

Seriously, what a selection of adventure games this month's Bundle included. Her Story, Sorcery 4, and Lumino City alone are enough to make it worth every penny, but no you certainly get a good selection if you pay the top price. If you haven't got it yet but fancy having the games on your Android device, there's still a week left until it finishes so head on over and check it out.

C.A.T.S. is ready to shed parts on your chosen device

Again, Crash Arena Turbo Stars is one that's split gamers in half (not literally). Like James discussed in this week's Pocket Gamer Podcast, it's a little like Robot Wars but you're at the mercy of your own preparation. Once the battle begins you've just got to watch the chaos unfold in awe, or in tears.

Jeez, that's it for another week. With fantastic updates, great deals, and a heck of a lot of new releases, I can't wait to see what the next week'll bring.

Until next Sunday, folks. I miss you already.
