French publisher Voodoo has been on a hot streak for quite some time now.

Take a look at the App Store game charts in any given week, and you can virtually guarantee that Voodoo will have a handful of games in the top 20.

Right now, Voodoo's Hole.io occupies the top spot in the US, and number two on the UK charts. So what's the big deal? And if you've played Hole.io to death, what else does Voodoo have to offer?

Hole.io

Here's the main game itself - another io game from the publisher of the massive Paper.io. This one adds a dose of Katamari Damacy madness to proceedings, however.

Steer your hole around a cityscape, gobbling up people, lamp posts, cars and other smaller players. It's good hungry fun.

Helix Jump

Helix Jump

This one presents an interesting little twist on the standard endless climber genre. Contrary to its name, Helix Jump is really more of an endless dropper.

Rotate a vertical pole so that a bouncing ball falls through the gaps in the platforms - but watch out for those red tiles.

Colour Road

Colour Road

Another endless runner with a slightly different flavour (but only slightly). Steer the coloured ball along a 3D path, but only make contact with balls of the same colour.

It's the sudden switches in ball colour that really provide the challenge here.

Paper.io

Paper.io

Voodoo's first hit was this enjoyable io game. Think of it as a game of massively multiplayer competitive Snake, except running into your opponent's 'tail' here will kill them.

There's a larger goal of expanding your area by drawing squares, prompting a variety of interesting tactics. Paper.io is arguably the best of the Voodoo bunch.

5
Dunk Hit

Publisher: Voodoo
Available on: iOS

Dunk Hit

It's easy to see why Dunk Hit got the casual vote over in the US. In this game, you tap the screen to punt a basketball into a net repeatedly until time runs out.

There's the obligatory 'on fire' period, which acts as a score multiplier, too. It's extremely simple and wafer thin, but good clean fun all the same.

6
Rolly Vortex

Publisher: Voodoo
Available on: iOS
Genre: Casual

Rolly Vortex

Rolly Vortex has been a massive hit with players in both the US and the UK. It's both more graphically advanced and more brutal than the likes of Dunk Hit.

Guide a rolling ball as it trundles into the screen through an endless pipe, dodging left and right through shifting gates and collecting pink things. It's rather tricky, which means that the constant barrage of between-try ads grates pretty quickly.

7
Snake VS Block

Publisher: Voodoo
Available on: iOS + Android
Genre: Arcade

Snake VS Block

This one's actually pretty interesting. It's a dodge left-and-right endless runner of sorts, with the aim being to collect variously numbered dots to boost your little snake's hit points.

These hit points then steel you for busting through various numbered gates - so a '4' gate will knock off four hit points, for example. Pretty smart.
