Kotaku has done some maths. That doesn't sound that exciting, but when I tell you that it's Hearthstone maths it probably still doesn't sound very exciting.

Using calculators and videos of people opening digital packs of cards, the site has worked out your chances of bagging some of the rarer cards in the game. And your chances are quite slim.

You've got a 6.33% chance of pulling a legendary card out of a pack of five. And a one-in-a-million chance of getting a pack comprised entirely of legendary cards.

There's a one-in-3.2 billion chance that your pack will be all golden legendary cards. I honestly don't know what any of this means, but the cards are clearly called 'rare' for a reason.

If you're interested you can wander on over to Kotaku here and see all of the numbers and a lot of the working out that went it to finding those numbers. You can even add your own numbers. Numbers!
