Blizzard's card battler Hearthstone isn't even (officially) out on iPad yet, but the studio has already unveiled the game's next major update: a single-player campaign called "Curse of Naxxramas, A Hearthstone Adventure".

This adventure will take place in the ancient necropolis of Naxxramas, and is sectioned off into five wings with five bosses. Battles will take place on an all-new game board, and there will be a bunch of new cards for you to unlock.

The single-player adventure will also feature nine "Class Challenges". These will test your ability to play with different classes. By finishing these challenges, you will earn some new class-specific cards.

The Curse of Naxxramas plays out over the course of five weeks, as Blizzard opens up a new wing every seven days. The first wing, The Arachnid Quarter, will be available for free (you will be able to unlock the other four with in-game gold or real money).

There's no release date for this new campaign yet, but Blizzard says that "Curse of Naxxramas is planned to release simultaneously for PC, Mac, and iPad." Until then, check out our hands-on preview with the iPad edition of Hearthstone.
