Kung Fu Factory has re-imagined Atari's 1981 survival-horror game Haunted House as a free-to-play endless-runner for iOS. Yep, you read that right.

Aside from the game name and the distinctive blue and black palette, the two versions of the game share little in common.

It's hardly a bad thing, though. The pixels have been traded for smooth animations of cartoonish characters. It's much kinder on the eyes.

Fun House

Your task in Haunted House is to clear a path for the boy running across the treacherous grounds. You build bridges, nudge spiders, and trigger springs to ensure his safety.

There are also collectible power-ups here that provide temporary invincibility and extra lives. You can also collect coin magnets and automatically built bridges on your travels.

You can download Haunted House for free from the App Store right now.
