Gun down waves of zombies from the safety of a jeep in Gunner Z for iPhone and iPad

BitMonster's follow-up to the sweet and endearing Lili is Gunner Z. And, no, it couldn't be more different from its predecessor.
Gunner Z is an on-rails shooter, you see, in which you pootle around in an armoured jeep killing as many zombies as you can.
And the good news for fans of night vision graphics and crane-mounted rocket launchers is that Gunner Z has just gone live on the App Store.
While your tooled-up jeeps trundle along, you control the guns. So, you swipe the screen to aim, then tap on the 'fire' button to turn zombies into white puddles of goo.
The combat is chunky and fun, and there are boss battles in which to partake, too.
The game is free-to-play, and upgrades to your vehicle either take a considerable amount of time or a lump of in-game currency to expedite.
Still, there looks to be a decent blaster here, and the simple violence is enough to bring a smile to the face.
Gunner Z is out on the App Store right now. It won't cost you a penny to find out if it's worth your time and attention.
