Gameloft launches iOS app for its social gaming network Gameloft Live

Gameloft has launched a dedicated iOS app for Gameloft Live, its social gaming network that lets you chat with friends, earn gamer score, and play multiplayer matches across its range of supported titles.
To no one's huge surprise, the French publisher will use the application to cross-promote its library of titles, and present users with news and exclusive discounts on Gameloft games.
Once you've downloaded the Gameloft Live app, you're presented with a 3D interface based on player-created avatars and environments, both of which can be further customised.
Naturally, you can acquire additional customisation options by spending Gameloft's virtual currency, which is available to buy in the Gameloft Live app.
You can also use this currency to purchase Gameloft games, which are available from an in-app store that highlights featured titles and the games that are being played by your network of friends.
Gameloft launched an Android app for its Gameloft Live service back in February 2012. This standalone application has since been installed by between 100,000 and 500,000 Android gamers.
