Fishlabs's sprawling free-to-play MMO RTS Galaxy on Fire: Alliances has been delayed until Q1 2014
Fired up
If you're looking forward to Fishlabs's massively multiplayer RTS Galaxy on Fire: Alliances, we've got some good news and some bad news.
The bad news first. The game's full release has been pushed back to Q1 2014, meaning you have to wait a little longer to get your hands on this deep-space strategy sim.
Now, the good news. Fishlabs is using that time to polish the game to a mirror sheen. There's a closed beta with 30,000 players running at the moment, and Fishlabs is using their experience to make yours better.
Fishlabs is planning to launch an open beta in November. So, while you might not get the full Galaxy on Fire: Alliances experience before the end of the year, you're still going to be able to get some hands-on time with the free-to-play game in 2013.
We had a play around with Galaxy on Fire: Alliances earlier in the year, which you can read by clicking here. The abridged version of that is we liked what we saw.
We'll keep you updated with any more details on the game between now and its full release.
