You might have heard it, you might have missed it, you might have been avoiding it, but we're here to tell you you should definitely be grabbing it as soon as possible.

Today's pick is stompy arcade shooter Shump. Mobile has somehow become home to some of the best twitchy arcade experiences that gaming has to offer, and Shump definitely fits into that category. You're making your way up the screen, blasting everything that moves, and trying to avoid rains of projectile fire and leaping monsters.

The game rolls by at pretty astonishing speed sometimes, so you're going to have to have your playing face on when you pick this one up. You're always blasting, so your main focus is avoiding dying - inevitably, that's much easier typed than done. Luckily though, Shump offers just the right kind of challenge to keep you playing.
