Fortnite is finally dropping onto Android this summer

Worry no more Android fans – Fortnite, arguably the biggest game in the world right now, is hitting your platform sometime this summer.

There's not much more information than that right now, sadly, but Epic did outline a number of other changes coming to the game in its recent State of Mobile blog post.

Be sure to check out our ultimate guide to Fortnite to help you grab those Victory Royale's no matter where you are.

Chief among them is the ability to customise your HUD, allowing you to put your various buttons and joysticks wherever you like on screen if the default setup isn't working for you.

There's also promises of voice chat to be added, along with the addition of stat tracking and various improvements to stability, controls, battery life, and file sizes, which should make the experience even better.

When we'll see these additions is unclear, but it's nice to know that Epic is beavering away on making the game more playable in the long run.

You can grab Fortnite for free on iOS right this second on the App Store, but Android users won't have to wait much longer until they can get it too.
