Creator of the original Football Manager game is looking to bring it back for iOS and Android

We all know that Football Manager is a series of sports strategy games published by Sega. But it didn't start out that way.

The original Football Manager was created by designer and programmer Kevin Toms in the 1980s and released across the Spectrum, C64, Amstrad CPC, Vic 20, BBC Micro, Electron, Atari, and Amiga.

If you're old enough you probably remember it as it was played by millions, just as the modern series is now.

If you do, prepare to have your nostalgia kick in as Kevin Toms is looking to rewrite the original game for iOS and Android.

It'll be kept in its original form with its original look but have touch controls and work on devices you probably own now (and not 30 years ago).

Toms has taken to Kickstarter to find $28,099 to acquire the tools to make the rewrite happen. The money will also be used to bring it to other platforms after iOS and Android.

If you'd like to see it happen considering throwing some coins at him.
