Fast-paced strategy game First Strike will make nuclear war fun on your tablet
Watch the world burn
Nuclear war isn't something I'd ever consider to be "fun", but developer Feinheit aims to change that.
Its fast-paced strategy game First Strike is set to arrive on iPad and Android tablets in March, and the new trailer has got us all quite excited here at PG.
Things start off with you picking which country to play as. You can be North Korea, for example, or one of the big Super Powers.
Then it's a case of making decisions to guide your country's fate. You can try to be peaceful and encourage other countries to back off from their hostilities.
Or you could throw your weight around and watch the world burn as you attempt to use force to take over.
You'll have options such as conducting research to learn new strategies that give you an advantage in the negotiations. You can build bigger bombs, recon your enemy's actions, and build automated defence sequences to secure your safety.
As you'll see in the trailer, First Strike makes nuclear war look beautiful. It also has a nifty looking interface that lets you spin the globe with your fingers.
As mentioned above, First Strike will be coming to tablets next month. Seems to be one to look forward to. We'll keep you in the loop.
