Final Fantasy Brave Exius softlaunches on Swedish AppStore and Android
Pixel art RPG goodness from Brave Frontier publisher
Final Fantasy Brave Exius has softlaunched over on the Swedish AppStore and on Android.
This is a F2P release which has been on the Japanese store for a while and is gradually making its way around the rest of the globe.
Final Fantasy Brave Exius is a turn-based JRPG where each character has their own individual limit breaks, and can also use summons. The Materia system from Final Fantasy 7 is also used for further customisation.
The world map is sizeable and free-roaming with quests, hidden treasure, shops, and towns. You'll also have dungeons and boss battles filled with larger rewards.
The game is said to feature regular new content and events, including famous battles from mainline Final Fantasy series with remade art.
Each event costs stamina, and so you either have to pay to increase your stamina, or wait to jump back in after you've completed a set number of events.
You can pre-register to check out the game early - providing you can access the site - but more information is expected on May 16th.
Final Fantasy Brave Exius comes from both Square Enix and the developers of Brave Frontier, so has a nice pedigree behind it. The game looks suitably old-school and excellent and we can't wait to check it out.
