Today on Twitter Killercow and Nibel spotted the news with hawk-eyes as Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition was announced via Twitch, and it certainly looks interesting.Final Fantasy XV Pocket Edition (yes another FFXV game) pic.twitter.com/f5fSgDQ4bM — Nibel (@Nibellion) August 22, 2017
The style is a little different to what we're used to, as is the new episodic arrangement. It looks like the first episode will be free while the following nine are premium. Pocket Edition will be more of a casual experience in the hopes of reaching as wide an audience as possible.
There's no set date for launch just yet, and very little information, but we should be getting the game in the autumn on iOS, Android, and potentially other handheld platforms.
