Silver Award-winning retro JRPG Final Fantasy V has been updated with iCloud and MFi controller support. So now you can play it with buttons in the sky.

The iCloud addition means you can essentially sync a save across multiple devices, which is a pretty sensible thing to be able to do with a massive RPG.

At review we said "Final Fantasy V might not represent the high point of the series, but Square Enix's sympathetic graphical overhaul and that ever-engrossing job system mean that it feels surprisingly fresh in 2013."

If controllers and clouds are enough to sway you into purchasing, you can grab Final Fantasy V from the App Store for £10.99 / $15.99.
