Because I probably only have moments before Square Enix drops another of its classic JRPGs on mobile, I'll cut to the chase: Final Fantasy IX is out now on iPhone and iPad.

The last Final Fantasy game to be released on the PSOne, this remaster is currently available on the App Store for £12.99 / £16.99 [buy]

That price is set to increase in around a week, and it's already a pretty pricey prospect for a mobile. So, you need to know if it's any good, and you need to know now.

Luckily, we've played the game, and have recorded the first ten minutes of the game to show you what it looks like. Naturally, our review will follow very soon, so keep your eyes on Pocket Gamer and AppSpy for the definitive verdict.

James pivoted to video so hard that he permanently damaged his spine, which now doubles as a Cronenbergian mic stand. If the pictures are moving, he's the one to blame.
