Fearless Fantasy is a weird hyperactive RPG that might be destined for iOS, Android, or Vita

According to its publisher, Fearless Fantasy is "the weirdest RPG you'll play this year".

After watching the trailer below for this game, I'm inclined to believe tinyBuild Studios.

Fearless Fantasy is a hyperactive turn-based RPG in which you defeat monsters with your party using gestures to determine the effectiveness of every action.

What is that?!

In announcing the game earlier today, tinyBuild stated that Fearless Fantasy was only going to be available on PC in the spring. However, the gesture-based gameplay makes it a perfect fit for touchscreen.

We asked tinyBuild CEO Alex Nichiporchik whether there's any chance of Fearless Fantasy being ported to mobiles, tablets, and handhelds.

"We're definitely considering it," Nichiporchik told us.

"The mechanic is obviously mobile friendly. But we'd want to launch it on Steam first and then see if the game is viable for future expansion."

There's hope for us yet, then!

In Fearless Fantasy, you play as a bounty hunter who sets out to save a princess from an abusive marriage.

Along the way, you'll fight a nightmare cast: lackadaisical royal caterpillars, sharp-toothed stripy balls, peacock-snakes, and three-headed fur-lizards.

The energy in the trailer, alongside the bizarre cast of monsters, provides plenty of reason to look forward to Fearless Fantasy.

We'll let you know if we hear any more news on it being ported to other platforms.
