Tumble your way to success

Updated April 6th, 08:24 AM: Right on schedule, the latest - or rather, prehistoric - Faily game, Faily Tumbler is now available on iOS.

You have to hold left on the screen to slide left, and hold right to slide right, but if you hold both sides, caveman Faily will curl up into a little ball, allowing him to travel farther distances. So, the controls are nice and simple.

The game's also free-to-play so you may as well give it a try. Download it from the App Store now, and tumble like no person's tumbled before.

It's been a while since we got wind of Spunge Games' last title, Faily Skater. This week, however, we'll be seeing the arrival of Phil Faily's latest - or rather, ancestral - adventure, Faily Tumbler.

Faily Tumbler is another crazy ride in which you control Phil Faily's prehistoric ancestor as he flees from an erupting volcano. Well, as the title suggests, you actually tumble to escape the volcano's molten fury.

You may not be able to save him from his clumsiness, but you can try and help him to survive as long as possible...despite the bone-breaking falls he takes across rocks and over caverns. Paving the way ahead of you are spiky bushes, raging whirlpools, and more, though it's probably a better bet than the torrents of lava biting at your heels.

Faily Tumbler is headed to iOS on April 6th later this week, and as per usual it'll be free-to-play.
