Evolution: Battle for Utopia on iOS gets even bigger with the 'Black Legion' update

My.com has updated the iOS version of its free to play, Bronze Award-winning action-RPG Evolution: Battle of Utopia this week.

Evolution already has a large sci-fi world for you to explore, but this "Black Legion" update expands it with six new regions, ripe for exploration.

Inside of these regions you'll find over a dozen new enemies to take on. Luckily, 10 new types of weapon and three additional types of defence are included in the update.

On top of that, you can now also fortify your bases with new defence turrets and new allies. That should stop it being destroyed while you're off gallivanting.

What else have we got in this goodie bag? Oh, it seems that the player level cap has been moved up to 58.

One last thing: two new mini-games have been added that'll apparently test your agility.

Got all that? Excellent.

In our review, we said: "With excellent visuals and plenty to do, this demanding game of strategy, management, and combat only appeals to a specific crowd, but serves that crowd well".

You can download Evolution: Battle of Utopia for free on the App Store [download] and Google Play [download].

The Black Legion update is free to everyone and will be coming to the Android version of the game soon.
