Duke Dashington Remastered delves to crystal caves and iPhone X in a new update
Watch out for the shiny spikes
Duke Dashington Remastered is ready to dash its way onto the iPhone X in a new update releasing on April 19th.
The update includes a new dungeon exclusive to the remastered version, the Crystal Cavern, which sends the intrepid explorer dodging through chambers of glimmering and treacherous gems.
If you never played the original, Duke Dashington has you guiding the titular character through a series of perilous temples in search of treasure. It's fairly simple to control, with Dashington jumping and, as his name implies, dashing left or right until he hits an obstacle.
Our original review gave the game a Silver Award, noting that "The controls are slick, the level design has been poked and prodded, and the new graphics bring everything bang up to date."
I haven't managed to check out the update yet, but the crystal realm looks to add a unique challenge to the original game. Hopefully future updates will continue to include more original levels.
If you haven't picked up the game in a while, the update may be the perfect reason to dash over and give it a try when it lands on April 19th.
