The creator of Dreeps describes it as being an RPG for those that don't have time to play them any more.

All you do is set an alarm when you go to bed and the little boy inside the game goes to sleep along with you.

When the alarm goes off in the morning, you both head your separate ways: you going to work or school, the boy going on a pixelated sci-fi adventure full of wondrous sights and battles.

The idea is that you can take a look at what the boy is up to throughout the day. There are no words to form a story, so you're encouraged to put one together from the visuals and actions.

If you like what you see, then you can use the share button to show others what it is, and maybe you can form a story together.

Dreeps plays even if the app isn't open so there should be something new to see each time you check back. As long as the boy has HP then he'll keep going.

By synching up the game with your waking hours, it's almost like you're seeing an alternative to your own life playing out.

If you want to give Dreeps a go then you can purchase it for £2.29 / $2.99 on the App Store.
