Dr Nakamoto's Digital Eggs is a Tamagotchi-like iOS game by ex-Crossy Road Artist
Out now for iPhone and iPad
Australian developer Super Hi just released their second mobile game, Dr Nakamoto's Digital Eggs, on iOS.
Super Hi is a team consisting of Crossy Roads artist, Ben Weatherall, and ex-EA programmer, Jonathan Murphy. Just one look at Dr Nakamoto's Digital Eggs makes that pretty evident, at least visually, as the game has the same voxel charm of the popular arcade games.
Throughout the game you have to help Dr Nakamoto resume his work and discover whether digital lifeforms can ever exist in the 'real' world. You start by hatching your very own digital pal, and put all of your efforts into feeding, cleaning, and walking it to help it grow. As it grows it'll collect toys, get a personality, and collect XP until it's ready to evolve.
It's like a mix of Tamagotchi and Pokemon...except without the battling and with a whopping 81 creatures to discover.
Grab Dr Nakamoto's Digital Eggs on the App Store for £2.99/$2.99 now on both iPhone and iPad. It'll be coming to Android at a later date.
