Downwell is profitable in just three days - will be getting iOS updates soon
It's gone down well
Ojiro Fumoto has revealed that his brilliant action-platformer Downwell was profitable only three days after its launch.
He announced this on Twitter, saying: "Downwell is profitable after just three days, thanks to everyone for their support! More updates coming soon!"
What these updates might be is anyone's guess. However, Fumoto has let slip a couple of things he has been working on in the past few days.
First of all, he says he's planning to add a palette creation tool for people to make their own inside the game.
He's also been working on an update that will boost performance for older iOS devices - "can't promise 60fps but it's gotten considerably better than current state," he said on Twitter.
Oh, and here's a bonus for you. Fumoto also revealed how Downwell played before it had gunboots.
The idea started off as a simplified version of Spelunky. Hence, it was a straight-forward vertical platformer with lots of traps.
