Dot Zone is a patience-testing quick blast arcade battle. You dash from safe havens, grabbing point-scoring blobs, all the while trying not to collide with ricocheting obstacles.

It's initially frantic, with near misses and high score-chasing raising your adrenaline. This simplicity is double-edged though, and without new challenges the game quickly becomes repetitive.

There are video ads in-between each play, and while they are annoying, you can get rid of them with an IAP if you like what you see.

You probably won't though. The concept behind Dot Zone is solid, but it's not substantial enough to fulfil your twitchy arcade fix. It becomes predictable too quickly, and in this genre that's far from ideal.
