Libellud Digital has revealed that it's set to bring a version of Dixit to mobile later this year. The game is called Dixit World, and it's slated to land on iOS this summer, with an Android version hitting the Play Store a few months later.

If you've not heard of Dixit before, it's a pretty simple experience. A player chooses a card and a sentence, then other players pick a card they think represents that sentence. Then you need to guess which card is the one the storyteller picked.

Points are awarded if you manage to fool your opponents into thinking that your card is the original. The first player to 30 points wins the game.

It's an incredibly social experience that deals with language and understanding, and that's something that hopefully this mobile version is going to be able to translate. It's going to feature both online and pass-and-play multiplayer, so there should be some scope for just that.

We will, of course, keep you updated about Dixit World as and when we hear more. Right now we know for sure it's going to be free to play with IAPs, but as soon as we get more info, we promise you'll be the first to know.
