The psychological horror Distraint finally arrives on iPhone and iPad for 99p/99c
Now to wait for the sequel...
Five months after its Android release, the creepy horror Distraint is finally available to nab on iOS.
Distraint is a 2D psychological horror/adventure game in which you play as an unwitting young man called Price. The game kicks off after he's seized a property from an elderly lass to earn a famous company's favour, and now has to realise his regret.
Running at around two hours long, the horror used is more subtle than a lot of current scary games. Rather than relying on jump scares, Distraint uses clever atmosphere and unnerving story.
One thing to note is that the iOS version of Distraint is a little bit different to the original PC version. The lantern you carried with you on Steam has now been replaced with better environmental lighting. The frame-rates have also been capped at 30 FPS.
Grab the game on the App Store now for 99c/99p, or get it free-to-play on Google Play.
*Note: The trailer above is for the Android release - hence why it doesn't include iOS in the listing.*
