Despite releasing earlier in the year, the team behind Dig That Gold are setting up an exciting event in London which gives 'treasure hunt' a more physical meaning.
Join @DigThatGold’s #GreatGoldHunt! REAL 24K BARS to be found in London on Tues 27th September. For more info, visit https://t.co/18Vlqs3adZ pic.twitter.com/XCP5PwGMC8 — Louis Smith MBE (@louissmith1989) 25 September 2016
Dig That Gold is a game that does what it says on the tin. Explore hundreds of different mines and collect the riches that lie within: gold blocks; cash; hidden treasure; you name it. You can also collect power-ups, sweet bonuses, and take part in mini-games to make you rich beyond your wildest dreams – in game, that is.
However don't you fret, earlier in the year Project M Studios started rewarding players with real 24k gold bars, and tomorrow you can get one for yourself in London. Throughout the day, different clues will be posted across Dig That Gold's social media pages – clues of which will eventually lead you to one of the physical gold stops where you'll earn your 24k bar reward.
As an added bonus, Olympic medallist Louis Smith will be giving away gold bars in secret locations throughout the city as The Great Gold Hunt takes place. Starting at seven o'clock in the morning, this is an all-day event, so if you're about in London tomorrow have a gander at a clue or two and see if you can earn yourself a little treat.
