Updated at 16:58 on December 10th: Robotube Games has pulled Destructamundo from the App Store after releasing it earlier.
It turns out that it was all a mistake. Although the game's final version was released, it wasn't meant to be, not yet. Hopefully it'll be soon.

However, if you picked it up earlier then, well, you've got the game before it's been released properly. The rest of us have to wait.

Original story follows...

Destructamundo is a game about chaining together stylised catastrophic explosions. It's just hit New Zealand, which means it should be out at midnight tonight in the UK.

Using a simple touch interface you need to fire rockets into planetary systems in order to destroy them as efficiently as possible.

The planets spin around, so you need to time your attacks just right to make sure you're blowing up as much as you possibly can with the least amount of effort.

It's all presented in gorgeous, simple visuals that turn the annihilation of entire species into lovely swelling rings of orange and red.

The game will cost £1.49 / $1.99 when it lands on the UK App Store later tonight, and it looks like it could be a lot of fun.
