German publisher Daedalic has released its dark sci-fi adventure game Dead Synchronicity on the App Store, for iPad only.

The game takes place in a dystopian world, where a virus has gifted humans with supernatural cognitive powers - but is also steering them towards a gruesome death. Swings and roundabouts, eh?

You play as Michael - a man with no past, who must recover his identity, figure out what brought the world to the edge of collapse, and figure out how to stop it before the moment of "dead synchronicity", when time itself dissolves.

Dead Synch

It's high stakes stuff. This morbid plot is the background for a classic point and click adventure, with the usual puzzles and dialogue trees and all that good stuff.

We last saw this game in Bilbao, when Dead Synchronicity took home second prize at our Big Indie Pitch event. And now, you can play it too - provided you've got £3.99 / $4.99 to spare.
