Updated on July 21st at 1:05: Cubway's intriguingly designed challenges are now available on iPad and iPhone.

Each of the game's 36 levels is a minimalist gauntlet to dodge and puzzle your way through.

You can purchase Cubway for £1.49 / $1.99.

Sometimes people forget that puzzlers don't have to packed full of detail to be striking, though at the same time some games can be a bit too stingy in that area. Cubway meets us in the middle, using minimalism to its benefit, and creates something rather interesting.

Cubway is a puzzler with arcade elements. It's unusual to find a puzzler that announces it has story as well as substance but ArmNomads Games states that Cubway explores the abstract lifecycle of rebirth, called Samsara.

With 36 levels to play with, its elegance and monochromatic style isn't the only thing drawing our eye. The odd thing is that the gameplay sometimes looks incredibly confusing, yet that's more intriguing in this case than repelling.

Cubway is so far set to release July 21st on iOS for $1.99 but we'll keep this page updated should it change.
