Lane-hopping traffic dodger Crossy Road has been updated with 16 new characters and MFi controller support.

As mentioned last week, these new characters have been added in preparation for Australia Day on January 26th - the game's creators are Australian, you see.

As such, these new playable characters include a kangaroo, platypus, echidna, kookaburra, wombat, koala, dingo, cockatoo, and an emu. The rest are mysteries you'll have to discover (unless you read our guide).

The MFi controller support speaks for itself. If you have a controller made for iOS (hence, MFi) then it'll now work with Crossy Road.

Not that Crossy Road ever needed controller support, but hey, it's always good to have the option.

You can download Crossy Road for free on the App Store [download], Google Play [download], and the Amazon App Store [download]. The update is currently only available on iOS, though.
