Commander: The Great War brings deep, turn-based strategy to iPad on July 25th

The Lordz Game Studio’s massive turn-based strategy game Commander: The Great War will make the shift from PC to iPad on July 25th.

Commander: The Great War is massive, not just in its hex-based maps (which span across the globe for five World War I-inspired campaigns) but also in its tactical depth.

Players control all aspects of the battlefield, from the research and production of equipment to the deployment of soldiers, and beyond.

With 18 unit types that span land, sea, and air, and different historical commanders to choose from, Commander: The Great War promises a diverse and deeply strategic war experience, all with intuitive touch-based controls.

Most impressive about the port is its use of PBEM++ technology, allowing for cross-platform multiplayer games between PC and iPad users.
