First up there's Smash Up - The Card Game. It's a brilliant experience full of pirates, robots, ninjas, and all sorts of other incredible characters. It's not a deck builder in the style you might be used to, but it is brilliant.

At review we said "there's a thick and juicy thrill to smashing through the bases and messing up other player's plans, and while it might not be as deep as the likes of Hearthstone, there's still enough here to impress even the most devoted card playing fan." Then we gave it a Silver Award.

You can check out the whole of the review by clicking here. But if that sounds like it's up your street, then click here to grab the game from the App Store for £2.99 / $2.99 right this second.

Next up there's Colt Express. It's a super smart game about robbing trains in the old west. You play as a cowboy, throwing down cards to make your moves. The twist is, everyone else plays their cards at the same time, so they might have moved out of your way or picked up your loot before you get a chance.

At review we said "all in all this is a smart and engaging mix up of the turn-based strategy genre. It throws multiple spanners in your works, but it’s up to you to figure out the best way to yank them out again." It got a Silver Award as well.

. This one's a bit cheaper too. You can grab it from the App Store right now at this link for just £1.99 / $1.99.
