At Apps World in London this week, we held one of our famous Big Indie Pitch events, which is where up-and-coming game makers show their wares to journalists and legendary devs in quick-fire three minute pitches.

At the end of the marathon judging session, we pick three winners. And this time, things were close. But after many arguments and some questionable maths, we had a second place winner.

That would be Polish developer SimBite, and its elegant colour-filling puzzle game Cobe the Gallery. Cobe. With an 'O'.

You've probably seen games like this before. You're presented with an intricate mosaic of colours and then, like a reverse Bob Ross, you turn that lovely picture back to a single colour by smushing one colour into another.

Each swipe must be thought out, as you have a limited number of moves. So you'll have to think carefully about the most efficient way to cover the screen in colour.

The game is minimalist and rather relaxing. So if you need something soothing after hours of gunning down robots in Warhammer, you can grab Cobe the Gallery off the App Store now. It's free (with IAPs for hints and extra stuff).
