Cloud Chasers is a roguelite journey across harsh desert landscapes, releasing October 15th
Water and sand
Cloud Chasers will challenge you to make an arduous journey across the desert when it comes to iOS and Android next week.
Blindflug Studios' previous game First Strike was about global warfare, but their upcoming title is a more intimate experience.
You guide a father and daughter, immigrants braving the expanse of sand and rock for a better life in the Spire
But to reach the Spire, they need to cross five randomly-generated deserts. Water is your most valuable resource, diminishing with each step.
You can collect more precious water by flying your glider through the clouds, but harvester drones, turrets, and other hazards means flights become increasingly perilous.
Throughout your journey, you'll have to react to narrative encounters that could offer opportunities to collect supplies or dangerous scenarios that could cost you health.
Reaching cities along the way will let you trade for supplies and upgrades and heal debilitating injuries.
Cloud Chasers will be available on iPad, iPhone, and Android devices on October 15th. You can find more details in our Gamescom preview and on the game's site.
