Card Thief version 1.0 has been submitted for review and hopes to be released in March
Play your cards right.
You'll have seen various images of the upcoming stealth game, Card Thief, as Tiny Touch Tales submitted the beast not long ago. But how close are we to release, really?
To summarise quickly, Card Thief is a Solitaire-style, medieval stealth game which you playing using a selection of cards. Though it may be a heist game, the overall goal is to steal a castle's chest card and return it to your hideout safe and sound. It sounds a bit extreme, but without the chest card your heist will fail, so you'd better choose the right move, champ.
As the developer of Tiny Touch Tales mentioned on their forum page earlier this week, the game went into review, but more interestingly he then went on to respond to speculations of the game's release. "Well we have no official release date yet, but I hope it will be early March. We still have to do a few things including the launch trailer etc."We just submitted Card Thief version 1.0 to the App Store. The first prototype was done on the 25th of August 2015. #gamedev pic.twitter.com/boGiSqBYpA — Card Thief (@cardthiefgame) February 12, 2017
It may not be set in stone (just look at how often The Binding of Isaac was delayed), but it's given us a rough date to look forward to.
