Sometimes you just want to destroy the entire world with carbon emissions, right? Well, rather than doing it in real life, Carbon Warfare is set to give you the chance to do it digitally.

The game sees you playing a lunatic hell bent on making as much carbon as possible. You’re playing against the game’s AI, which is essentially a green-loving computer that’s trying to stop you.

And as your CO2 makes the global temperature increase, you’re given new disasters to smite cities with. It’s sort of like Populus but you’re even more of a dick than some imaginary god.

It’s not all fun and games though. There’s a serious ecological message behind Carbon Warfare.

There’s some real science underneath all the mayhem, with much of what you can do based on a six degree average temperature rise. Which is what we could all be facing in the not-too-distant future.

Carbon Warfare is set to hit the App Store and the Google Play Store this Thursday. And it sounds like it might be well worth a gander.
