There's a new Call of Duty game heading to iOS. Yay! Woo! Dude-bro military nonsense!

It's called Call of Duty: Heroes, and it's set to released some time later today in New Zealand and Australia. After the antipodean soft launch you can expect it to roll out world wide.

From the screenshots the game essentially looks like Clash of Duties. Or Call of Clans. Pick whichever name you think suits it best. You build a base, train some heroes, and wage war on your enemies.

There also appears to be some sort of helicopter gunship shooting involved. Because it wouldn't be a CoD game without an on-rails vehicle shooting section. Am I right? Yes.

When the game hits New Zealand and Australia we'll get some fingers-on time with it to see if our suspicions are correct. Which they probably are.

If you live in one of the two territories, keep an eye out for the game landing at around midnight. I suspect it's going to be free to play. You can find out more about Call of Duty: Heroes here.
