Blokshot Revolution is an interesting twist on the arcade shooter. Rather than blasting away mindlessly, here you control a swinging ball that fires out globs of death when you lift up your finger.
You need to get the trajectory of your shot just right to destroy the cubes and other shapes that are falling down the screen in your general direction.
If you chain together a series of hits, you get to throw out even more glowing globs of death, and the points start to rack up pretty nicely.
There's a neat simplicity to Blokshot Revolution, and while it might not be the most exciting game on the App Store, it's still strangely compulsive.
