Out at midnight: A squiggle is a solution in daring iPad puzzler Blek
Doodle stumped
We introduced you to an elegant iPad puzzle game called Blek a few months ago. Well, you should now know that this clever and highly recommended game will hit the UK and US App Stores at midnight tonight.
In Blek, you use your finger to draw a doodle, which is then endlessly repeated and bounced between the edges of the screen. The plan is to make a self-replicating squiggle which scores through all the coloured dots while avoiding the black ones.
There are no set solutions to figure out. You just have to come up with some successful way to finish each of the game's 60 stages. It makes you feel more creative, and finishing a tricky level is even more rewarding.
Blek is the first game from new Austrian indie dev Kunabi Brother - the stage name for brothers Denis and Davor Mikan - who says the app is inspired by calligraphy and Bauhaus design.
It's out at midnight tonight, and will cost you £1.99 / $2.99. An iPhone version is due in January. Watch Blek in action in our PG First Play video above.
