It's difficult to not instantly be charmed by Bill Killem's vibrant retro-style graphics.
That's hardly a problem, though. Bill Killem is an endless run-and-gunner, and we're hardly going to protest as it blows a hole in our chest to get to our hearts.
Its plot is as silly as it needs to be. A movie star by the name of Bill Killem gets a little annoyed by the aliens that interrupted the première of his latest blockbuster.
This results in Bill finding the largest gun he can and running across the pixellated city destroying as many aliens as possible. There you go - that's your plot.
As you run-and-gun completing missions, you'll pick up shotguns, machine guns, lasers, and rockets.
With the coins you earn, you can purchase outfits and disguises for Bill. Some of these offer extra abilities, such as increased speed with running shoes.
If you're up for a lot of action and plenty of alien squishing, then you'll want to download Bill Killem as soon as it surfaces on the UK and US App Stores at midnight.
